This kit employs enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) for detection, offering high sensitivity and high specificity. The porcine reproductive and respiratory syndrome virus (PRRSV) protein antigen immobilized on the microtiter plate binds to specific antibodies in the test sample, forming an antigen–antibody complex; the presence of PRRSV antibodies in the sample is then determined by a colorimetric reaction.
